44 East Ave
This 49 story condominium is one of the first buildings you see as you enter Downtown Austin making it an important part of the city landscape. Creating this structure meant understanding the quality needed to build an Austin icon and channeling that vision into every floor that rose up to the sky.
Project Summary
Top Tier Quality Ahead of Schedule
This downtown location provided limited laydown space for the pier rebar cages and casing pipe. The structure required 93 cased drilled piers ranging in sizes from 24" - 54" in diameter.
The level 11 amenity deck featured large transfer beams and girders which required continuous stage stressing of the post tension throughout the project.
At level 49, Outrigger columns were required to be cast monolithically with the structural slab.
Even with all of these challenges, we're proud to say we topped out this project ahead of schedule.
